“The beach is not a place to work; to read, write or to think.” ― Anne Morrow Lindbergh

For Rica's 18th birthday, we went to Isla Reta in Talicud Island. It was supposed to be more than us, we invited some other friends too but it was just us who came. Surprisingly, everything turned out fine. Fine would be an understatement. It was fun and really great.

Before the day, we had a little sleepover at Aiko's because we're supposed to cook the meals in the morning. You know... we had to be early and stuff but as always, sleepovers end up with "chikahan sessions" and other stuff. The "ride" from Davao to Talicud Island was rough but you know, we have to get used to it if we're aspiring to go farther someday.

We really had fun. Of course, trips like this should be documented with photographs.

The fun in the sand will always be the best part. To be honest, it was the food but yeah, this was great too.

We wished we could extend the day but then we had to go home early because we'll be having our classes the next day. But yeah, fun never ends there! x
